Focus for the Week: Overcoming Fear in Trade Execution

This week has been a transformative one in my trading journey. I’ve made significant progress in addressing the hesitation that has often stopped me from taking trades, even when they meet all my strategy’s criteria. Breaking through this mental barrier feels like a breakthrough, and it has positively impacted my confidence and overall approach to trading.

I executed two trades this week (XAUUSD, BTCUSD) that stood out not only because of their setup but also because of my willingness to take action. What made these trades unique is that they were on currency pairs I don’t typically trade. This pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to test my strategy in new markets, something I’ve previously hesitated to do. To my satisfaction, both trades are currently playing out nicely, reinforcing the importance of following my rules.

Reflecting on this week, I feel a greater sense of trust in my process.
