This week, I decided to take a much-needed break from trading to refresh and reset myself mentally. The past few months have been intense, with constant market analysis and trading leaving me feeling drained and overwhelmed. I realized that my mental and emotional state was affecting my performance, making it necessary to step back and recharge. During this time, I faced a handful of moments of inner conflict, where I felt overwhelmed by my environment and even ridiculously personally attacked. These moments were unrelated to trading, yet they still impacted my overall well-being. Instead of letting these feelings take over, I focused
on acknowledging why I was feeling this way and recognizing the need for a reset. I took deliberate steps to calm myself by finding a quiet space, focusing on my breathing, and allowing my thoughts to flow without judgment. This practice helped me cool down and regain a sense of calm and clarity. Taking this break has reminded me of the importance of prioritizing mental well-being in trading. Now, I feel more focused and ready to return to the market with a renewed perspective and greater resilience.
